However, you can also apply Ruby Rouge to level 8 hair or darker. In this case, the finished colour will look more tonal. Therefore, complete a strand test first to check the expected result.

The colour comes ready to use straight from the bottle. Moreover, you can mix Ruby Rouge with Vermillion Red and Fire to create a multi-tonal red.

Alternatively, use Burgundy or Bordeaux to create a darker root. Then, blend the darker shade into Ruby Rouge on the ends.
