Aubergine
Crazy Color 50 Aubergine 100ml is a semi-permanent purple hair colour that works best on pre-lightened blonde hair. Use it alone or create a red balayage by blending it from the roots into Cyclamen or Ruby Rouge.
How to apply
Aubergine.
No developer, no mixing. Straight from the tub – follow these six steps for the best result. Full guide →
Pre‑lighten
Crazy Color works best on hair that has been pre‑lightened to level 9 or 10.
Shampoo & towel dry
After shampooing the hair and towel drying, apply your chosen Crazy Color, beginning at the roots and working in sections.
Work it through
Spreading evenly from the roots, work it out through to the mid lengths of the hair.
Saturate
Work the colour into each section with your hands until the product starts to froth slightly and each section is saturated.
Leave 15–30 min
Leave for 15–30 minutes depending on your hair condition. For grey coverage, leave for 1 hour.
Rinse lukewarm
Rinse with lukewarm water only, without shampoo, and follow with Rainbow Care Conditioner. Lasts about 10 washes with the right aftercare.
Crazy Color 50 Aubergine 100ml
Crazy Color 50 Aubergine 100ml creates a rich purple shade. For the brightest and most accurate result, apply it directly from the bottle to pre-lightened or bleached blonde hair.
However, the final result depends on the starting shade. On level 8 hair or darker, Aubergine may create a softer tonal result. Therefore, always check the colour guide and complete a strand test before full application.
Aubergine is also suitable for creating a red balayage. First, apply Aubergine to the roots to create a deep shadow-root effect.
Then, approximately one-third of the way down the hair, blend it into a lighter red shade using a brush. Cyclamen or Ruby Rouge can be used to create contrasting, blended ends.
To refresh the colour between applications, mix a few drops of Aubergine with a colour-care conditioner. Leave the conditioning mask on the hair for a few minutes to help refresh the purple tones.
Overall, Crazy Color Aubergine provides a versatile option for rich purple hair, shadow roots and blended red balayage looks.
